Accounts Receivable/Payable Accountant

We currently have an extraordinary opportunity for a dynamic Accounts Receivable/Payable Accountant. Our Accountant’s primary responsibilities involve Accounts Payable: record all vouchers and vendor invoices, investigate AP/PO variances, vendor account statements, ERP reports, vendor discrepancies, and other records for accuracy; obtain proper approval for all vouchers and maintain all documents generated in the performance of the Accounts Payable functions.

The other critical responsibilities focus on Accounts Receivable: Depositing and posting payments received and posting payments into the AR database; investigating short payments dealing with delinquent accounts. Reconciliation of general ledger accounts with various registers. There are also the responsibilities of accurately and timely processing.

We require either, a related Bachelor’s Degree, or a related Associate’s Degree and at least 3 to 5 years of directly related experience in a manufacturing environment. Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to: communicate effectively orally and in writing, maintain confidentiality of records and information and work with vendors are required.
